Academic Programme

The academic programme of the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg centres on inviting academics to Greifswald to carry out research within the Alfried Krupp Fellows programme, holding academic lectures, conferences, symposia and summer schools, and organizing postgraduate programmes and interdisciplinary working groups.

Research projects may only be applied for together with faculty members of the Ernst Moritz Arndt University of Greifswald and will only be supported in special cases. The Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg also allows the Ernst Moritz Arndt University to use its seminar room for special classes.

To the calendar of events ...

Applications for doctoral grants will be considered only with reference to advertisements in connection with postgraduate programmes or research projects of the Wissenschaftskolleg. There is thus no point in applying for a doctoral grant on one's own initiative.

Habilitation grants are not awarded by the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg.
