Minority Languages in the Digital Age. Usage, Maintenance and Teaching

The conference will focus on the impact of digital media on speakers of smaller languages, drawing on case studies from Fa-roese, Frisian, Gaelic, Low German, Sorbian and Welsh.
In addition to the discussion of the general opportunities and challenges of digital communication, we will debate how digital media can be successfully applied for the lear-ning and teaching of smaller and potentially endangered languages.
