The 9th international workshop on new trends in spintonics, Spins, Waves and Interactions 2024, will take place from August 27 to August 29, 2024 in Greifswald, Germany. The main focus topics are altermagnets and non-collinear antiferromagnets, magnons and ultrafast spin transport.
We are proud to announce another edition of this traditional international workshop and networking event, which aims to bring together both established scientists and young, talented researchers in the field of spintronics. As usual, we will meet at the pleasant venue of the Krupp-Kolleg with a series of invited talks and contributed posters. New this year is the organisation of a social programme: an excursion to the nuclear fusion facility in Wendelstein, a public lecture with hands-on experiments, or water sports in the Baltic Sea after the workshop. Student participants will also have the opportunity to apply for student travel grants.
