Each time our website is accessed, the following data is stored in log files for data security and statistical purposes:
- IP address,
- time of access,
- User Agent (browser and operating system used),
- accessed page or content elements and
- If provided, referrer URL (the previously visited page).
The data is stored for a maximum of seven days, after which it is stored in anonymised form for access statistics (AWStats). The IP address will not be merged with other databases.
When you visit our website, so-called "session cookies" are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are used to make the website more user-friendly, more effective and safer. They do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. As a rule, session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Your transmitted data will only be used to send our newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter yourself at any time. Please use either the link given at the bottom of the newsletter or the newsletter management. Your data will then be deleted from our system immediately.
You will only receive our postal newsletter after prior registration. You must provide your name and postal address in order to receive the newsletter. All other details are optional. Your transmitted data will only be used to send our newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties. You can unsubscribe from the postal newsletter at any time. Please send us an email to infodesk@wiko- greifswald.de. Your data will then be deleted from our system immediately.
The application documents submitted by you, including the personal data contained therein, will only be processed for the purpose intended in the application and will be deleted no later than 3 months after the processing purpose no longer applies (usually the end of the process). Your data will not be shared with third parties.
Image and sound recordings at events
To document our events, we create video and audio recordings that we also process for the purposes of our media and public relations work. This includes the possible publication and transfer to third parties (e.g. the press) while respecting the personal rights of the data subjects. The creation of picture and sound recordings by guests is not permitted in order to protect the rights of others (in particular copyrights and personal rights).
