Professor Dr. Dr. h. c. Ursula Gather has been the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation since 2013. Since 2008 she has also been the Rector of the Technical University of Dortmund. Until she took on her university position, she held the Chair of Mathematical Statistics and Industrial Applications at the Technical University of Dortmund.

Since May 2019, Bettina Martin has been the Minister of Education, Science and Culture for the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Prior to that she worked as State Secretary to the Representation of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the Federal Government where she had been appointed in August 2017. Before that she worked as Chief of Staff of the Federal Ministry of Family, Senior Citizens, Women Affairs and Youth.

Professor Dr. Johanna Eleonore Weber has been the Rector of the University of Greifswald since October 2012. Since 1994, she has held the Chair of Differential and Personality Psychology / Psychological Diagnostics. In addition, she is the Vice-President of the German Rectors’ Conference for the area of University Medicine and Health Sciences.
