House rules
These house rules serve your safety and ensure a pleasant stay at the Kolleg for all guests and participants. We thank you for your understanding and compliance with the following regulations, which are binding for all persons on the premises of the Alfried Krupp Kolleg Greifswald Foundation and the associated outdoor areas.
1. Use of the facilities of the Kolleg
- Checkroom
Please use the checkroom in the basement. It is not permitted to store luggage in the event rooms. - Use of power sockets
Cell phones and laptops may only be charged at the designated power stations in the lecture hall and conference room. The Alfried Krupp Kolleg Greifswald Foundation accepts no liability for damage or loss in connection with the charging process. - Technical equipment
The operation of technical equipment is reserved exclusively for authorized personnel.
2. Behavior in the Kolleg
- Food and drinks
The consumption of food and drinks is only permitted in the cafeteria and in the inner courtyard. This is prohibited in rooms such as the lecture hall, the conference room and the seminar room. - Photography and filming
The creation of image and sound recordings of the Kolleg, the grounds or events is only permitted with the prior consent of the Kolleg and the persons recorded. - Access for children and young people
Children and young people under the age of 16 may only enter the Kolleg if accompanied by a responsible supervisor. - Smoking
Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere in the building. - Animals
Animals are not permitted on the premises, with the exception of assistance animals.
3. Security at the Kolleg
- Domiciliary rights
The Kolleg staff exercise domiciliary rights. The instructions of the Kolleg staff must be followed. Persons who do not comply with instructions or disrupt events may be denied access or expelled from the building. - Escape routes and fire protection
Escape routes, stairs and fire extinguishers must be kept clear at all times. They must not be blocked or otherwise obstructed. - Arrival and departure
Driving into the delivery areas and the forecourt is only permitted with the express permission of the Kolleg. - Reporting and safety
Please inform the Kolleg staff immediately of any accidents, sudden illnesses, fires, criminal offenses or suspected cases as well as any damage to rooms, facilities or objects.
