Alfried Krupp Fellowships
The Alfried Krupp Fellowships enable researchers from Germany and abroad to undertake a research stay at the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald. The fellowship programme supports outstanding research projects and promotes interdisciplinary exchange within the Greifswald research community.
Fellows are given the opportunity to concentrate on a research project for an extended period whilst participating in the academic life of the College and the University of Greifswald. The College provides a working environment that combines academic collaboration, international encounters and focused research.
The Fellowship Programme is open to researchers from various disciplines and at different stages of their careers. Applicants are expected to propose a research project that can be further developed during their stay at the Institute and, if possible, brought to completion.
The call for applications for the Alfried Krupp Fellowships is issued annually. The application period for the 2027/2028 fellowship year runs from 1 June to 31 August 2026.
