Early diagnosis and future treatment in monogenic diseases

Arndt Rolfs, Professor for Neurology and Psychiatry, is Director of the Albrecht-Kossel-Institute for Neuroregeneration at the University of Rostock, Germany. He is also CEO and founder of Centogene AG. Arndt Rolfs received approbation for human medicine in 1985 from both the University of Mainz, Germany and the University of Vienna, Austria. He is a principle investigator of several international multicentre studies in the area of rare diseases and actively engaged in biomarker research for several metabolic diseases. He has authored or contributed to more than 250 peer-reviewed publications.
